INFORMATIONAL LETTER № 1

Dear Colleagues!

I.N. Ulianov Chuvash State University in cooperation with Chuvash State Insti-tute of Humanities with support of Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of Chu-vash Republic holds XI International Symposium May 21-24, 2018 “Language con-tacts of the nations of Volga-Ural region” in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic.
We invite you to take part in the symposium.
Following issues are planned to consider:
• phonetics and phonology;
• descriptive and historical lexicology and etymology;
• descriptive and functional grammar;
• history of literary languages, stylistics and culture of speech;
• cultural linguistics, sociolinguistics, and others.

For participation in the symposium it is necessary to sign on the website http://richfizh.chuvsu.ru/index.php/2-unca...d/829-simpozium till October 1, 2017.
As far as possible organizing committee requests to determine the subject of reports in the comparative-competitive aspect. Round tables are planned to be real-ized during the symposium with regards to theory of translation and comparative lit-erature.

Also, organizing committee requests to extend this informational letter among concerned parties.
The second informational letter with the requirements to registration of articles and visa support for foreign participants will be sent in October 2017, after consider-ing the applications.

Organizing committee does not assume the travel expenses of the symposium participants.
